Hello Friends...

I spoke to Ross and he is going to be with us for quite some more time.

He has also asked me to ask those who are calling to wait a couple of days before calling again. He is very thankful for those that care about him enough to call, but he is very medicated and wants to remember who is calling and what is being said.

It takes a lot of effort and maybe even lengthens his hospital stay when folks call.

Yes, that means me also..

So please flood this forum with your love and messages for Ross. We all know that he is going to be sitting in his chair at home reading this whole thing before long anyway.

If you have kind words for him, this is the place. I also posted this message in the HearTalk thread so that we have maximum coverage.

Thanks Hank -

Thanks Hank -

for the update on Ross.

I have been reading the posts religiously for the last several days. I sure wish they would find out where the bleed is, but I know they will and Ross will soon be on the mend.

He is, as always, in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, Hank. I think that's great advice for all of us. We love the guy, but he needs some peace!! We all know what it feels like to be all groggy and cranky in the hospital. I'm so glad that you have posted this.

Ross. You are just right there in front of everything I do these last couple days! I'm really thinking of you! Hope your hospital stay is productive and endurable. Good luck and heartfelt best wishes!

:) Marguerite

i hope ross is getting some rest while in the hospital; he could probably use it!
i just read the thread ross started when he started his GI bleed 3 days ago.
when i read it, i felt like i was replaying what happened to my dad a few years back. he was bleeding internally and his BP dropped to 50/30 when he arrived at the ER. they said that any later and we might have lost him...
the thought of this gave me goosebumps.

ross,
i'm so glad you listened and went to the hospital so that they could take care of this.
hopefully they will fix you up soon and send you home and back to us.
good wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery,
sylvia

Ross....Dude.....Please know your in my heart and prayers...

I have been away for a few days, and therefore, didn't see this until today, and I just want you to know that I am praying hard that you get better asap and you and your family are all in my prayers, heart and thoughts as you go through this. Peace and Blessings....Harrybaby:D :D :D :D

Good Morning Ross!

Wow! I really need to make it a point to check in on the forum more often! I do tend to lurk if I get a chance but never have time to post. I've been so busy this summer!

Rossman, you are definitely in my thought and prayers. As well as your family! When you didn't respond to my jokes that I send you (which you always do) I went straight to VR.com to see what was going on! Had I been online and seen when you first posted you were bleeding, I would have told you the same thing the others did. Get to ER! While reading the post though, I understood your reluctance not to want to go! They've kept you there so long when you've had to go before. Hospitals are not fun! They are a necessity though. I'm sure glad you did go to see the doctor. Hurry and get well! You are deeply missed by all of us! I'm sending you lot of Hugs through cyberspace!

Ross, my partner in mirth. . .

I'm glad that you've gotten the care you need, and didn't waste any time getting it. We need you here, for more reasons than we are able to say (especially on a personal level).

Keep those doc's in line and make them fix you up so you can come back and play!

Just spoke to the Rossman.... Lets help him out :)

Just spoke to the Rossman.... Lets help him out :)

:) Hello friends, :)

I just got off the phone with the Ross man.

He is awaiting results of an attempt to locate cats within him.

He isn't reporting any missing cats, but they insisted on a cat scan regardless.

He is thinking that there is a possibility that he may get out of his favorite place in the world as early as tomorrow.

He sounded good and I feel much better about our main man.

He is dealing with a bout of CHF because they yanked all of his meds to figure out what the issue was, so that adds to his discomfort.

Man the fort a couple of more days and he will be back to harass us all :D

I think it would be a good idea to hold of on calling him for the time being.

Send any cards, flowers, get well wishes and any leather negligee's to his home address because he may be there before your deliveries are! (email me for his address at [email protected] )

He mada a special request for "meat", so now I am accepting donations for an "Omaha Steaks" order to be sent to his home.

I am sure that any other donations that anyone can spare would also help Ross out in his time of need. If you would like to help Ross out, please use the "Donate" link on the bottom of the main www.valvereplacement.com page. You can donate via PayPal or Amazon, or via snail mail to my address with checks made out to valvereplacement.com. Just note somewhere in the donation process that it is for Ross and I will make sure that everything is directed to him.

Once again - we can all join together to show our appreciation to Ross and his better half for all they do for us.

Lets amaze him with generosity!

My best to Ross

My best to Ross

I hope he does well and gets out soon! He is in our prayers. You can look for a donation just made on his behalf!

Thanks Hank for letting us know what's going on!:)

Omaha steaks, huh?

That would be like sending him my brother or sister to nibble on!

Now Heavenly Ham, . . . that's another story!:p :p :p :D :D :D :D

I think it would be rather fun to just send him a cow (in a VR thong) and have it munching the grass in his front yard for his return home.:D

I am glad Ross will be going home tomorrow. He is much loved around here and we all have been majorly concerned for him. I believe he is just like the energizer bunny - takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. You can't keep a good man down, that is for sure!!

And I nominate you, Karlynn, to get that cow to Ohio!:D :D :D :p :p

I wanted to mention that I had a brilliant idea (no smart remarks, please) and decided to use my CREDIT CARD to send some money to Ross! I sent it via the Amazon site on the front page, but I didn't find a place to notify Hank that it was for Ross. So I emailed Hank my intentions, and I know he will take care of it.:) :)

Yes I will

Yes I will

yes - I will take care of it. I will see that all donations designated as "For Ross" get to him one way or another. If you donate online and can't put note with the payment, then just shoot me an email.

And Thank You Mary...

Thanks for the update,Hank and best wishes to Ross for a complete recovery and early homecoming. Sent my donation via Amazon and a separate email designating Ross as the recipient.

Haven't sent Bossie off yet because she won't keep the thong on and I don't trust her to keep it on during shipping.
