Has anyone ever heard of this.TGA I have been having black out since befor x-mas. And have them from four hours to 12 hrs.up yo to three days,And I can't remember very little. I saw all the specialists they have very little answers except what I read on the web. They won't let be drive or take a bath without someone in the house. I just praying that I don't sleep throught my daughter wedding. It so scaring that you never when they are going to hit you. The last was a couple weeks ago when we go early to take Mike's parent to Cinn. for his surgery. I got in the back seat with his mom and put my head on my pillow and went to sleep but I was in a zombie state for three days. Mike called my daughterm and came over to check on me she said my finger nails were blue and my sugar & b/p was low too! they did Ct, x-ray, eeg
all were neg. Why do I always get the strange problems. Mike doesn't make a happy driver! Any help will be great! Love you all.

We've actually discussed TGA briefly in the forum in the past. While it does share symptoms with what you've mentioned, it's not usually a repetitive thing.

A friend of mine experienced it firsthand. You're basically functional during most of it, although you may say or do unusual things, but you remember almost nothing about it afterwards.

Best wishes,

Sherrin, I had an episode of this several years ago. Driving, walking around, speaking coherently (I was told that I really looked and sounded normal, just a little agitated), but the kicker was, I had absolutely no recognition of that four hour span. Eventually, I regained memory once I had been taken to the hospital. They did a CT scan and said no evidence of stroke, so the neurologist called it TGA. It only happened once, and according to what I've read on the Net, most people say it's only happened to them once. Hopefully, you'll find out what is happening to you.

Thanks for your input. Each one has been a little different. But for the most part I don't remember much of anything. I just don't want this to happen the weekend of my daughter wedding. That is what scares me the most. Since all of them I was under some kind of stress. Still has two specialist to see. Wish me good luck. Right now they won't let me drive or even get in the hot tub or pool byself. It's gets really stressful when you have to wait for someone to take you everwhere. :}
