surgery update

Ron came through surgery with flying colors. His heart is back in sinus rhythm (so far), and he's already out of ICU and sitting up. He's also getting ornery, which means he's feeling better! It's still going to be a long haul, but the doctor says he'll get out either Sunday or Monday.

Now you will need to be sure to get plenty of rest for yourselves. Ornery is just the begining.

Congratulations on a successful surgery. Isn't it a miracle to have your heart fixed up?

Ornery goes with the territory. It'll improve when Ron gets home. The hospital is a little hard to take. Your life isn't your own, and other people take charge of your body. It's a real invasion of privacy.

Just hang in there Ron, you'll be home soon.
