TEE last week showed severe regurg in my 12 yo human tissue aortic valve. Also showed a "mobile echo density" of unknown origin on one of the leaflets and the root. No history of endocarditis. Left ventricle is moderately enlarged now, and ANOTHER ascending aortic aneurysm of 5.5 cm above where they repaired my last one. Meeting with surgeon Friday. Any experiences with Brigham and Womens? How soon do you think they will schedule the surgery under these circumstances? Anyone experience developing a second aortic aneurysm after having one repaired? I just want to get it over and done with and hopefully not have to deal with this again. Looking at the On-X this time.
