I have been getting them sporadically since my early 20s. When I "see the snake" forming I just relax, don't try to read and ride it out and in 20 min it's gone. Then the sledge hits and I can go on. It's helpful to know I may expect an increase post surgery. Still waiting....

When is your surgery? I haven't had one in 2 days,knock on wood, and at least the headache and nausea haven't joined the party. A couple of times walking into brightly lit stores or too much time staring at a screen my eyes have gotten a little "bugged out".
