Severe tension/pressure headache PLUS Fever Since July 3rd morning.

Greetings and happy 4th everyone.

I'm on my way home after being in Sacramento since 3rd. We had a grandnephew baptism and I hoped this would go away.

The pressure/pain is much less than before, yet it is still there.

Temperature fluctuates between 98.9 (only once. May after I took 3 Advils). Then back between 100.1 and 102. Right nor 101.3

I have no pain in chest when I bend, no diahreah, .....only sever stressed neck pain rising to my brains! I'm starting to sneeze, and each sneeze hurts my head and neck.

I hate emergency center and I'm thin and hoping to sleep on it for tonight!

Anyone with similar experience! Could be just viral flu? Or something more serious!

I'm on Tylenol 500 mg.

dunno Eva, it could be just a cold but its always worth keeping alert. See your Dr as soon as you can for a blood test if it persists.

I hope to soon read you post that "its just a cold".

Thanks, pellicle. I'm hoping it a cold too and hopin my doctor can squeeze in. I hate emergent room!

Eva, I hope you were able to get some medical attention. I don't think we should ignore severe headaches; please let us know how you're feeling.

Later in the evening. I became very worried as I could not tolerate the pain!! Went to ER. Was given morphine when all test were fine including rain cat scan, blood culture, and chest X-ray. So no endocarditis nor meningitis!

Diagnosis: muscle viral infection! Need to rest for one week!!
