PT for heart Cath.

I wassuppose to have heart cath torrow but my Inr was 3.3. We are goin to try again next week. This RN for my cardiologist doesn't have a clue what's she doing. I'm ging to sit back and see her fall on her face! She didn't want to listen to what i had to say. I've only been doing my own for 7 yrs. I think I know my body better than she does.

Sorry, Sherrin. I got some bad advice about warfarin today, too, but I'm not trying to schedule a cath. It must be frustrating for you to be in this position.

My INR today was 4.0 (prescribed range is 2.5-3.5), and the doctor told me to hold tonight's dose and then reduce the total weekly dosage from 47mg. to 42mg. If I do that, I will be below range.

Vent away.

Hopefully you won't follow that advice!
