Dan,
first, let me say that I feel proud to be in the "elite" group along with you and Ross. My aneurism wasn't an emergency, but still, my surgeon looked very serious after the results of the heart cath came in (inner wall was dissected)and we scheduled the surgery not too long after that. He later told me they measured it on the open heart and it was 7cm! The aneurism had pushed up against the LV and caused AFib last March, which brought the whole thing on.
Well, I'm glad it's over, my ross fix does have the potential to last 30-40 years, but we'll see. I'm six weeks out and I work out every day, and it makes me feel so much better!
I'm glad you feel better now and I encourage you to walk 45 minutes or bike or whatever you like doing (if you don't do it already) and you will see, it will make you feel better.
Take care and remember, you are the elite!
