Well, a year ago we packed up the car and drove to Tacoma for the surgery.
I can not believe it. I have lived through two open heart surgeries in this lifetime and feel normal.

Thank you all for your support.
This forum made this so much easier for me and my family.
Thank my surgical team, and the wonderful cardiac ward staff at Tacoma General.
The rehab staff at Northwest Hospital in Seattle who got me back on the treadmill.
My family and mostly my Wife Heidi who has put up with so much and been given so little.

HOORAY!!! Congratulations!!! As we often say, Happy Valversary!

It really is an amazing thing to feel so HERE!!

I appreciate your coming on to express your feelings. I'm headed toward 5 years in April and while I think of it less and less, I just do not take it for granted; this glorious life.

Share that smile with everyone today!

Happy Valversary to you, James and here's wishing you many more valversaries to come!

Love and live life to the fullest and appreciate even the smallest of things!

Stay well! :)

James,

I'm glad you shared your valversary with us. It makes me feel better just reading your post! It should help those who are still in the waiting room feel better too.
Congratulations!:smile2:
