Just picked up a copy of Crank 2: High Voltage at the local video store.
Mindless sex and violence, illogical, unrealistic. Just what i needed.
Best 75 cents i've spent on a video since zombie strippers.
From the back cover, our hero "...chev wakes up to discover his nearly
indestructible heart has been surgically removed and replaced with a battery
operated ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity in order to work...."
in fact, he awakes following transplant surgery (he's got a cool scar!) to learn
they want other organs as well, and proceeds to kung-fu the crap outa
a couple bad guys. they he runs outside, beats some more dudes up,
shoots a few, uses a shotgun one-handed, smashes a window with a
brick, hot-wires a cadillac, and that's just for starters.
i feel so pathetic and worthless and weak! after all, i didn't do no kung-fu
the first day after surgery. nor did i have wild sex in public, on a horse
racing track, during the race, on the second day. took me a whole week
before i could even arm-wrestle the nurses for more jell-o.
what's wrong with me?
