Hi Gang,

I just wanted to let you know that I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that I have once again taken on about ten pounds of fluid...The doctor thinks my kidneys are starting to deteriorate and I will be finding out tomorrow whether the doctor has increased my lasix to help get rid of the fluid-although I don't know why as I have been constantly hitting the restroom and voiding myself of fluid. I have lost my desire to eat anything at all, and lately all I want to do is sleep. I will be going to Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital on May 8th to see a PH specialist and cardiologist and hopefully they will tell me something more. Could I ask you all to wish me good luck on that day so that I can finally get my issues addressed instead of being blown off by yet another doctor? Many Thanks In Advance. Harry I was sorry to read this. Keep hanging in there and I hope you can get some relief. Did they do any bloodwork to check out your kidney function?

I have to see my kidney doctor on June 13th and I will be having bloodwork done at that time to see about my kidney function. He checked my blood sugar, and he did send a urine sample out to be cultured as he found blood in it....

I know something is going on, as my blood sugars have gone up again, and that usually means that I am either going to be sick or I already am sick but do not know what's going on yet.

I am having my brother go with me to Dartmouth next week because at this point, I am not feeling well enough to drive that far (2 hours up and back) alone. Harrybaby:eek: :eek:
 
Sorry you're dealing with this Harry. Our prayers and best wishes are being offered. Hope this is resolved and that you recover soon.

Sending you prayers, Harry. I'm glad your brother is going with you- maybe he can sit in and take some notes. An extra pair of ears is always a help.

Harry, I too am so sorry to hear this. I'm glad you are not going by yourself not only because of the length of the trip but it will be someone you can talk to about how the visit went. You will be in my prayers too and I will surely think about you that day.
 
Praying that you get some of your health issues found and addressed at your May 8th appointment. Good to hear though that your brother will be with you.
