Seven years, 5,000 miles and 3 marathons ago...I put forth upon this body a nasty 9 inch scar.
So far, so good. My last check-up in October (after marathon #2), showed that the residual murmur from the pulmonary had ceased. I sounded "Perfectly normal".
I know everyone is different and no two stories or outcomes are the same, but I do wish everyone the very best of health with their second lease on life!
