My 7 month Checkup

On Tuesday I had my 7 month check up

The doctor said all seems well with the valve,but he was a bit disappointed with my scar, it is still quite raised, he said it was kelloid scarring

He said that maybe I could have some steroid injections, but he would not really advise it

It does itch a little but it is not too bad, I think its best too leave it alone

When I think back too how I was feeling this time last year, I realise that my quality of life is so much better

Sounds like a good checkup. It's a disappointment about the scar, but if it doesn't bother you that much then let it be. The inside part is the most important part and that's working well.

What a relief it must be, to have such a good result! The scarring
issue is shared by a couple of others here, so if you do a search using the words "scarring" or "keloid", I am sure you can get some additional info!
