For any of you on Metoprolol or another beta blocker...what do you do if you accidentally miss a dose? Do you take it as soon as you realize you missed it? What if that would make you double up?
If it has not been more than a couple hours, take the missed dose, if it close to the time to take second, skip the missed and take the second on time. Don't double the dose.
I agree with LucyLou.
One missed dose is not a catastrophe. If I realize I've missed it a few hours after I should have taken it, I'd take it right away. If after an hour or two, I'd wait until next dose is scheduled to take my regular dose.
