A friend and I were just talking about this the other day...how I rarely got into trouble ... because I was shy and didn't have many friends as a youngster.
So, I didn't have a "typical" HS career or, for that matter, college days. Which kinda made me a bit sad

Jan 10 made 5 years for me also. Its been a tough battle at times but all of it was worth it to keep me alive. Jan 15,2001 I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, severe leakage, congestive heart failure, left branch bunndle block and mild pulmonary hypertension. All the research showed that I had probably 5 years max. HELLO, its been 6 years!!!!!!!!! I fell pretty good some days. I also now have 2 more valves that are leaking mild to moderate and will probably require my 3rd open heart surgery. Only God can determine the outcome. I live each day as best I can and try to stay positive.
