If you need a laugh, start reading Lewis Grizzard's "They tore out my heart and stomped that sucker flat." Grizzard was a southern humorists that wrote about his AVR in 1982.
It's easy to relate to the same condition (BAV) and procedures, but also makes me glad (because of the medical advancements) my AVR, heart cath, etc. was 18 years later.
