Hey everyone 
Last night I realized my valve replacement anniversary had gone by (two years on Apr. 24) and I completely forgot about it! I can remember the countdown before surgery, 6 weeks until, 4 weeks until, 6 days, 2 days and then afterwards, one week since, one month, one year. It's amazing that something that overwhelmed and preoccupied my life isn't all I think about anymore! It's actually quite nice to forget an anniversary
Coincidentally, my sister asked just this morning if I still visited this forum. I thought I should check in and "read" the familar names to see how you're doing. This forum was such a God send when I was panicking about my surgery!
