I finally have the meet the surgeon appointment

I received the call yesterday to be up in Cleveland today at 3:30 to meet & discuss my case with the surgeon. I will post an update soon.

Well I've been mad all afternoon. I got a call ten minutes before I was leaving & had to reschedule for Tues August 4th at 2:30.

I did however have a short conversation with the surgeon on the phone. He was thinking of using a beef paracadium - perry mount valve? I have heard of the maze proceedure before but what I ask is a maze-cox 3? Also, he said he would use a gortex to reconnect my right aorta. Finally, to my surprise, I have found out that they want to put in an anti-tachycardia pacemaker. I DO NOT WANT a pacemaker.

I agree, it does. But it can be postponed for emergency surgeries on others.
