I have not been on here too much lately. I am having computer problems plus I can't sit in the same position too long. I have a sciatic nerve problem in my left buttock and leg. It has been bothering me since before Christmas. I think I am getting old!!!!

Today is the 3rd anniversary of my OHS. I went to see my cardiologist a couple of months ago...had an echocardiogram...everything was fine. I went for blood work today to check my cholesteral. That may not be so fine. lol
It does not seem like it has been 3 years since my surgery. It seems like yesterday that I was coming here in a panic, scared half to death. Y'all saved my sanity, you know that!

I need to stop and post this before my computer starts acting up again.

Best wishes

I remember three years ago. Happy, happy third birthday to your valve.

I hope you will be feeling better soon. It has to be hard dealing with the youngsters with this nerve problem. I hope this clears up very soon for you.

Kindest regards,
Blanche

Praline,
Congratulations on your third valversary!:) I remember it well.:) I'm sorry to read about your sciatic nerve; I have the same ailment and am taking physical therapy sessions to relieve it. I hope Ross can help you with your computer so you can check in more often.

Congratulations, Praline!

I'm sorry about your computer--hope it gets better soon.

Just thought I'd mention--I had the same pain in August. I couldn't sit without a lot of pain and was facing a cross-country flight. Was sent to an orthopedic specialist who diagnosed bursitis of the hip. One cortisone shot and I've been pain-free ever since. Even though I spent 30 minutes in the office filling out forms, including marking on 2 different diagrams where the pain was, then a nurse interview before seeing the DR, when I saw him he was going to start the diagnostic route--xray, MRI, who knows what. I just started all over, described the pain, where it hurt, when it hurt. He said "hmmmm..', poked at my hip joint some, and said he thought it might be bursitis. I think it was the calf pain that tipped him off.

Sorry this was so long, but I really hope yours could be the same easily fixed condition!
