pt-test today - no change from last test. yay. also did a cholesterol
test.....since they had me skip breakfast anyway......tg and vldl slightly
elevated. not enough to worry or consider changing statin dosage.
the hard part though, is comparing test results from two different chinese
hospitals. they use slightly different names, at least different characters,
for the same measured item, and the healthy ranges vary from hospital
to hospital.

so to clarify, my zongdanguchun is fine, as is my gaomidudanguchun and
dimidudanguchun. sadly my jidimidudanguchun and ganyousanzhi are slightly
elevated. i know, i know, you're thinking what about his zhidanbai. but you
forgot that zhidanbai is just another term for danguchun. i even got
confused with the zaizhidanbai, cause the translation, apolipoprotein, is
greek to me. although the germans would say 'seems spanish to me.'
anyway, got that? next week we'll try it with characters, a few of which
don't appear in my dictionary.

oh, yeah. i'll try to skip my morning pot of coffee tomorrow and see if
that has any effect on heart rate when i hit the track in the afternoon.

As the French say, "C'est du chinois" (It's Chinese)!! I think they've got it right!! I really admire you having to deal with all those medical terms in a language that is so totally different!
