6 wks today..maybe I've turned the corner

I had my second lung tapping today with only a small thimble full of fluid able to be extracted from the syringe. It's been labeled for lupus testing. I'd only had 4 prednisone tablets between Tuesday's appt and today's tapping so my doctor was very pleased with the small amount of fluid still in my lung after such a small amount of meds. He also doubled my lasix dosage. I'm feeling great overall with the way everything went today. I feel in my 'heart' that I am on my way and that the lupus scare is just that a scare....not reality. I sure as heck hope this is the first of many super positive post-op reports from now on. I go back in a week for another chest x-ray. Keeping my fingers crossed.
