Hi All,
Well 12 months today, I was being wheeled down for surgery - can't believe it has passed so quickly!
Apart from the first few months after surgery - when I thought a bus had hit me, it has been a breeze!
To all those who are awaiting surgery - life does and can return to normal. I no longer hear my ticking valve (99% of the time), I feel no different to the person I was before the operation, all activities and work have resumed to their prior levels.
Here's to another 12 months (and more!) trouble free times.
Thanks to all on this forum for making me feel at 'home' and giving me confidence and courage in the early days.
