After much delay, it looks like you're finally ready to have the surgery! I know the wait has been difficult for both you and your wife, but you're prepared for the climb up and over the mountain, and you'll soon be back with us.:)
I wish you a successful replacement and an easy, uncomplicated recovery.
God bless and Godspeed!

My brothers' surgery

My brothers' surgery

Hi! I am bookjp's sister. Thanks for all of the wishes for a speedy recovery and successful surgery for him. He has been in our local hospital since Saturday night. He's been having a few episodes of being short of breath (first time that he has really ever had any symptoms). They have run a few tests and nothing much seems to be changed. He is really hoping that they release him today!! His surgery is still on for March 11 at U of M. Thanks again....he really has enjoyed the support from this website.

Best wishes headed your way for a smooth and uneventful surgery and recovery. Hope you are feeling better today and ready for your surgery on Wednesday. See you on the other side of the mountain!

Good luck! Everything you're nervous about, your nurses and doctors will go to great pains to minimize. It really is easily managed. Just don't eat the breakfast "omelet". It's not food, it's something else.... something evil.

Best wished from me and Heidi.

David

ps take your meds!

Praying for a successful surgery and speedy recovery!!! Looking forward to your update posts!!!!!

Hey everyone I"m back home now.Wife insisted She take me to hospital Sat. night because I told her I felt a little short of breath.Boy once they get their hooks in you its hard to get them to release you. Finally got out monday around noon.Actually my wife cured me sunday morning she talked me into taking a xanax and it did the trick. Can't believe it was just anxiety but it seems to be the case.I haven't been eating real good the last few days because of the dental work I had done before surgery.Things seem to be improving the last couple days. Thanks for all the kind words!!!

Dude, Never underestimate the power of a good tranquilizer. That is what they are for. Now give the wife a kiss and a cuddle and relax. Tomorrow will be the start of a whole new chapter in your life. Just keep reminding yourself that you will be feeling 1000% percent better after you get over that moutain. Keep us posted, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you after your surgery. :D
