Dusk in the high country.

I was really looking to take pictures of a herd of elk when I headed up to Via Grande last night. I was able to take a picture of a herd of maybe 25 elk, but they were so far away the picture wasn't much.

This picture was my consolation prize. Although our temperatures have been in the 60s, it is still cold at the higher elevations. I can give you my personal assurance that it was every bit as cold as this picture looks.
