Surgery Done!

Hi All,

This is Joe, Teresa's husband. She wanted me to post her results.

I am delighted to report that the surgery went great. The problem was completely fixed. No blood products were needed and she has no pacemaker. She is now getting some much needed rest in ICU.

I want to thank you all for your important support over the last 8 months. Because of the advice and kind words here, Teresa was a well prepared patient. We both look forward to many years of engaging dialog and some actual encounters.

Thanks Joe for the update. Now tell her to just take it easy, and don't forget to use that spirometer. I hated it, but I used it faithfully and it sure does help.

Fantastic! I'm sure you are much relieved. Now remember, we all had our good days and not so good days throughout recovery, so it's okay if the first few weeks seem a bit unsettling. Keep a close eye on her, though. Don't hesitate to ask questions of the staff and doctors if you feel anything is amiss. Use your intuition.
