Many thanks to Jacqui, Linda and Aja for checking in on this thread and sharing your thoughts.
Just this past Friday I was watching the Oprah show on TV and Oprah closed the show with a tribute to her chocolate Cocker Spaniel, Solomon, who passed away right after my Cleo. Watching Oprah's pain and tears was like a stab in the heart again. My hubby came home from work and said, "Oh no....what's wrong?" And I just broke to pieces explaining that Oprah's beloved spaniel had died. I'm taking this one particularly hard.
Maybe a couple of weeks in Hawaii would help.....too bad I don't travel.

Bina,
When I first read your thread regarding your beloved Cleo, I couldn't respond because it brought back so many memories of my wonderful Ragland Theodore ( English Cocker Spaniel). Well I just picked the thread up again, and it sure still hurts, but I believe that only time will start to heal the pain in your heart, so keep her memories close and just wait.

So Sorry for your loss. They become a BIG part of your life. You are to be commended for sharing you love with Cleo.

John & Joann

So sorry to hear that your precious pooch has passed. Sending hugs to help you through this hard time.

A heartfelt thank you to Ton, Chris, John & Joann, Betty, Andrew's Mom, and Praline for checking in on this thread.
Maybe I need to borrow Praline's silly Springer with the sloppy kisses!
