Hi Bina and Dave ~ I'm SO sorry for your loss. It's like losing a member of your family, and there will be many tears for awhile. Hopefully you'll find comfort in knowing you gave her the best home possible and will have happy memories of her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dawn-Marie

Bina and Dave,

I am very sorry to learn of Cleo's loss. Your sad news brought tears to my eyes as I read through all of the posts. I know her passing leaves a great void. We are trying to prepare ourselves when our Pongo (avatar) will no longer be with us. She is also 14 and is in poor heatlh. No matter how long you know the moment will arrive, it still does not make it easier to accept.

Karl

Bina,

I am so sorry for your loss. My pets are special and I understand how it hurts to lose one.

Bina and Dave,
Sorry for your loss, we have been there many times.
Rich

Without our four legged children life would be empty indeed. The sad part is they usually do not outlive us but, perhaps, that just makes the love more precious.

Bina and Dave, I am so sorry for the pain you are feeling and pray the memories of Cleo make your days a little less gray.

Dear Bina and Dave, I cannot add much to what our friends have already said, only that I too know your pain. Try to take shelter in the memories. Love, your valve brother Brian

Aye...Bina and Dave ... very sorry for your loss....

We had to have our dog, Fibber (a silky haired terrior) put to sleep just after his 19th birthday in December 1997. Seems like just yesterday, in some ways; ages in others....

Thoughts/prayers coming your way, of course....

Bina & Dave I am very sorry to hear of your loss of Cleo. I too can feel your pain because I lost my 16 yr old cat KC, two years ago to kidney disease. I was totally devastated. This was my first animal I ever had to put down in my life. I took it hard. Time does heal the pain.

I echo what everyone else has said. Our pets are our family too. Be comforted that Cleo will live on in your spirit and memories.

I'm so sorry Bina. I truly understand the pain you are feeling. At some time the pain will be eased by feelings of tenderness and warm memories. But until then the sorrow will be present.

Godspeed Cleo

Godspeed Cleo

I don't know what to say that hasn't been said. I don't know what to feel that hasn't been felt.
I'm thinking about you all.

Many, many thanks to you all for your kindness....I really appreciate it,
and it's comforting to know that we have so many thoughtful "critter people" here.
This morning the sun is out melting that bit of snow and I'll venture out back to visit Cleo in her resting place.

This afternoon my daughter came to visit, and Dave is home, so the 3 of us went to the sideyard where Cleo is resting.
No goodbyes.....just trying to feel her presence with a promise to see her again some day.
Many thanks to all of you for your kindness and understanding.

So sorry for your pain Bina. I know it because I lost my little Yorkshire Terrier ''Misty'' a few years ago and it was like loosing a member of the family. She was a little darling. ((((HUGS))))

Oh Bina, I'm so sorry to hear about Cleo's passing. Labs are such wonderful dogs. We lost our yellow Lab, Brandy, five and a half years ago at the age of 13. She was our fourth child. I still at times will call our current Lab, Abby, Brandy. I'm so sorry for the pain you all are going through. I know that all the fond memories you have will help you through the tough times. I'm sure that our Brandy welcomed Cleo as only another Lab can. LINDA

I can't imagine what you are going through, i am sorry to hear about your loss
