Pete, When I first started eating solid food after surgery, it tasted very different. I had forgotten how blah many things were until reading your post! As time went on, (not sure how long) my taste buds seemed to return to normal. I suspect you just need a little more time. I'm hungry now after hearing your menu! All the best, Brian Mc
