Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! No cake tonight -- I'm fasting for the "drain all the blood from your body" pre-surgery blood test. But on Saturday my husband threw me a birthday brunch at the barn with LOTS of food!

That is an AWESOME cake! I'll have some as soon as they drain all the blood from my body. I think chocolate cake is a healthy way to break a fast, don't you? You know -- antioxidants!
