Judith,
Glad to hear that Tom's surgery went well. Now's the time to take care of yourself and get plenty of rest. Wishing Tom a speedy and complete recovery!

Judith,

So happy to hear that Tom's surgery was a success and that is is recovering well! Hats off to you for doing your research and finding a surgeon who was skilled enough to deal with the complications that they encountered in terms of the aneurysm and bicuspid valve. Operating on the aortic arch is an extremely delicate procedure and you were fortunate to have a true "aortic specialist" doing that procedure!
My bp was fairly high during my entire hospital stay even with all the meds they had me on, but now it is normal and even low with just a very small dose of Atenolol so things will calm down immensely in the next couple weeks. My prayers and best wishes with you and Tom for continued successful recovery and keep us posted! We know with you by his side Tom is very fortunate indeed!

Judith,

This is WONDERFUL news ... thank you for taking the time to update us :).

CONGRATS to Tom for climbing that mountain.

Thoughts/prayers coming to Tom for a continued SUCCESSFUL recovery ... and to you, too, Judith :).

Great, Judith and Tom! All the best for an uneventful recovery. One day at a time and it will all be behind you before you know it.
