I think I'm going to be sick. As I type, I'm watching this flakey snow stuff fall outside my window. Official first snow 11/6/07.

Time to get out my grinch socks and shirt. It's that time again.

We also have a chance of flurries later on today.....better than freezing rain!
A fresh 2 inch blanket of snow is really very beautiful, glistening and sparkling in the sunshine,
crunching under your feet, sticking to a dogs nose.:)

Woman you have no idea what it does to my Oxygen tubing. It makes it a lethal weapon within seconds outside.

This southern boy wants the sun on his face year round!!! I can see all the snow I need to on Christmas movies!!!:D Anyway?..people go nuts??they rush out, buy up all the milk and bread and then run into each other on the way home??..idiots.

:p Pumpkin Cake:p

Cooker that doesn't happen here. Our troubles start with new drivers. They've been layin rubber all summer and have no clue how to drive on ice.

Even here, where we usually drive in snow each year, people act like they've never seen it or driven in it. One snow flake and all of the bread and milk is gone at the grocery!! We are amazed by this every year.

Let Buckley out at 10 last night to do his thing, and there were flurries in the air. It's very blustery here today. Says it's 42, I don't believe it.

Flurries in the 'Burgh today too!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
(the kids love it!)

Close your back doors, Folks...those up North from me..:D .We are going to have our first freeze in Georgia tonight.. Hubby has all the outdoor plants wrapped. yes, we know to uncover them early....but weather forecast is to stay cool now...down 15 degrees from yesterday..It finally feels like fall. leaves are still on trees and color just beautiful...:) BUT. I hate the wind that came with it today..Brrr..cold front coming thru.....just cuts right thru me.. so no walking today.........Bonnie

I thought the wind would strip the trees of leaves, but they are holding on tightly still. I really don't know how to predict this winter. I'm thinking LONG and COLD.

Same here, Ross . I had bought a new leaf blower for myself..to blow leaves off front porch/sidewalk....Hate when they are wet/icy...when I walk down early in A.M. to walk the dog...blew what was on yesterday..Today..no leaves? and the wind blew like heck?..No leaves..also..acorns are holding on, too..have a huge oak tree near the back den..and normally they would be hitting the roof..when the wind blows like it did today....Years ago, I remember the same type weather that we have been having this year..No cool Fall. went straight to winter..in Nov-March with no let -up.. ..No warm days at all..Atlanta's weather is showing same thing for next full week.....No rain..but cool days..Bonnie

AHH.......The southern hemisphere is a great place to be at this time of year. Spring has sprung 25c (approx 80f) sunny and a beautiful blue sky and not a cloud to be seen

Mary

I'm sitting here in Newark, CA with all my windows and doors open. I has be about 70 all day but has dropped to 65. Beautiful clear blue sky. It is suppose to rain on Thursday.

Perhaps, but you Californians have other issues that I would not want to deal with. Our snow is nothing in comparision.

Are you referring to out latest earthquake, or something else? It shook pretty bad a few frazzled nerves, buy no damage.
