Are you willing to swear on a stack of digital scales that you're telling the truth?

And aren't you crafty . . . . blaming some other chimp for using your username/password to log in!

And great work, Rachel!:)

No, I am not willing to swear:eek: I can not tell a lie:eek: I had a big glass of prune juice this morning:p ........But ya know what??? You can't stop me.....hahahahahahaha:D The long arm of the law does not reach to South Carolina!!!!!! LOL:D Catch me if you can:p :p

As I posted earlier I always have a Friday night out with the main event being the meal. My weight Saturday morning was the same as Friday but I was up a pound this morning (Sunday). I was perfect diet wise;) all day Saturday. The point being is that we will fluctuate and it is nothing to freak about. If we continue to watch our intake and as Marguerite says "keep moving" it will pay off in the end.....or stomach or thighs or hips.......

Wishing all losers a fun and successful week of continuing lifestyle changes. I have decided that for me the overall feeling of wellness is the biggest payoff of this effort. It feels great to fell great!!!!

I am now back to zero, as in my original start weight. Next Friday's weigh in will reflect my weight loss from this point on (although I lost 4.5 pounds in the last 5 days!). Cindy is getting back to zero soon.

I'm getting ready to have peaches and grapes for breakfast. I wouldn't have believed that I could eat fruit for breakfast, but it has been setting very well with me. Bon appetite!!

You'll feel the long arm of the law when the Florida VR reunion takes place, chimp man!:p :p :p

HOORAY, Cindy and Wise! Great progress!

A late weigh-in due to lack of electricity (some idiot missed the corner and knocked out the power pole!) and normal weekend mayhem...

I have no gain or loss to report...

This week I am going to sacrifice white-carbs and see if that helps me lose a few kilos/pounds.

I am so jealous of all you guys and gals who have done so well on our throw-down. I refuse to quit...I will win my little weight-struggle one-day.

I've been MIA for the last several days due to a trip to see my nephew (he's a cutie!). Although I did eat out for every meal over the weekend, surely the lifting and bouncing of my 14 lb. nephew will balance it out? ;) My arms were sore by the end of the day yesterday. I don't know that I've lifted that much weight that many times in any of my workouts at the gym! :D I guess we'll see how I fare at the end of the week. I hope to make it to the gym a few times this week as well. Or walk around the neighborhood before the next cold front hits!

BTW- Congrats to everyone for your hard work! Regardless of the end result, at least we're still trying. I'm so grateful to you all for your encouragement. I think I would have quit by now if it weren't for the Throw Down!

Drum roll please.......

Last week 162.5 new scale 155 - old scale

This week - 156 new scale 151 - old scale

Since I've decided to go back to the old scale that makes -4 for the week. I DO THE DANCE OF JOY!!!!!!

AND - since I stopped taking Provachol a week ago (and had been not losing and then gaining weight up to that point) I'm blaming Provachol.

And this weight-loss was with Halloween candy thrown in there!!!!! But healthy eating otherwise - and lots of water.

Not only is my weight finally coming off, I'm not waking up feeling like I'd been hit by a truck during the night. Really sore back, stiff joints, general aches all over. It's quite apparent that the "stuff" didn't work for me. I'm calling my cardio and reporting my experience.

Karlynn:

Congrats both on the weight loss and on making the discovery about the effect of that particular med in your case! :) We really have to monitor that stuff and let the docs know. I chronicled here some months ago how one of my meds was sabotaging my blood-sugar control.

Cheers,

Great job Karlynn!!!! What a great feeling it is to see that number dropping!!!!:D I will refuse to think about the scales before Friday morning??. I have fallen prey to fried chicken, French fries, pineapple upside down cake and pumpkin cake??. That pumpkin cake is sold at Sam?s and is absolute nirvana!!!! I am not one for bought baked goods bit if you see one of these get it??it is worth every calorie.:D It is a bunt type cake with a white glaze.

1. How do we know you're really eating all this stuff? ;)

2. How do we know you're not just trying to make us all hungry? ;)

Number 2 is working and can be verified. However I am going to eat my fruit and veggies and avoid the pitfalls of temptation. :p :D

You wound me deeply???????not.:p Believe me I have eaten all the listed items. My mouth was watering as I posted so don?t feel like the Lone Ranger with those hunger pains.

Oh and by the way pumpkin is either a fruit or a vegetable:D ?.not sure which and flour comes from a vegetable:D ?..hell?..even sugar is a plant based.:D Justification, the great skill of professional dieters:)

Of course you know my post was all a contrived joke in the guise of an accusatory starved dieter.

Actually the cake sounds good. :)
