Glad we are back on line in time to wish you well for your surgery on Tuesday. Praying for the same good results that you got on your lung surgery in June and looking forward to your wife's first post when you are over the mountain. You have a great attitude and I know you will do well. Hope you have some fun this weekend.

You've been through alot in the last six months, so I think after you undergo this avr, you need to chill awhile!:)
I know that the replacement will be successful, and I predict that you will have a smooth, easy recovery.
God bless and Godspeed

Plumber,

GOOD LUCK!

Thoughts/prayers coming your way for a SUCCESSFUL surgery :).

Thanks all for the well-wishes.

Tuesday will be a big day in my life and I appreciate everyones support. I am feeling a little anxious. The fact that you would place my surgery date on your calendar and follow through with a loving message like this is very, very touching. My wife thinks do too.

I had a dream two weeks ago where I went for a deep swim: My dog jumped into the water off the dock at the marina where I live. She was beckoned by a harbor seal that delved deep in the water. Sensing danger, I jumped in after my my dog. She swam down deep in the water to follow the seal, where it is too dark for anyone to see. She was disoriented and I reached around until I found her and knowing the way to the surface, guided her and myself. We came back up rapidly. When we surfaced, there was a skiff with a set or oars waiting for us. We climbed in and I rowed us to shore.

On the 30th, I am going for a swim in some deep water, I look forward to reaching the skiff and getting to shore.

Keep finger crossed, okay?

Thanks so much for all the support here. My wife will report my progress etc. to VR denizens.

Gods' speed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you for a succcessful surgery and a smooth and speedy recovery! Tell me what the view is like on the other side of the mountain...I'll be joining you soon!

P.S. My sister is a nurse is the cardiac cath lab at St. Peter's....I am assuming that is where you are having surgery...let me know if you or your wife need anything at all~ inthe short time I have been on the site I feel like we're all one big family now....
Also, thanks for your input on Swedish...I am going there on Monday for a consult!!

Thanks for all the well wishes and tremendous support. I go in tomorrow morning. My wife will relay message of how I am doing. Promise to report in person as soon as possible.

Plumber1's Surgery a Success!

Plumber1's Surgery a Success!

Hello,

Mark's surgery went really well! They did not have to put him in hypothermia, thank God. So far, no complications, and according to the nurses in ICU, he's doing amazingly well considering the surgery he had. No bleeding, not much pain, and all his vitals are good, although his blood pressure was low so they had to put him on neosenephrine (I could swear this is the same name as a nose spray!)

It's hard to believe but this surgery is not as painful or hard on his body as the lung surgery was, at least for now. I know the recovery will be longer, and there are still risks and potential complications ahead, but I feel like we're through the hardest part.

Thank you for the support and compassion you've shown him through all this.

Plumber1's wife, Kim
