Wires ?

Hi all
hope each and everyone is enjoying life.

I was going fine until a couple of weeks ago back training up to four miles a day four days a week. the area around the top Sof my scar was a little sensitive. Spent a very physical day in work came home and jumped in the bath noticed a head on the scar and back to the Surgeon 2 years after Opereation with an open wound. Put on Antibiotics and INR up and down since. seem he is thinking about taking the wires out have to have a CT scan in a couple of weeks. Anyone else had a simular experience ?

I've read in here of others having their sturnum wires removed but don't have any personal experience with it. Try doing a search on "sturnum wires"

Years ago I used to get red welts, but it has callused up fine now.
