My Doctor's office and the surgery dept called this morning. They cultured the urine and it came back as just a skin bacteria which is normal. So I do NOT have a UTI infection. My cardiologist talked to the Renal Specialist and the specialist doesn't feel an urgent need to see me before surgery. He will come see me in the hospital and then during discharge will set up an appt w/ him so that we can set up a long term plan as far as my kidney problems goes. It would be either antibiotics the rest of my life or lapriscopic surgery to repair the kidney. I will continue to take antibiotics up until Sunday evening and then through an IV in the hospital.

Everybody has consulted w/ the surgeon and my surgery WILL happen on Monday morning. I had an appt w/ my Cardiologist for tomorrow that has now been cancelled because there is no need for it.I am sooooooo happy about all of this. This is the best news ever. I have been waiting for 3 months for this (at least that's when I actually found out about the bad valves, Been having symptoms for 5 years. I can't wait to see how different I feel after I heal.

Again, I can't express how much your love, prayers and support has meant to me. I love you all. And again Thank you.

I shall be sending good vibes for a smooth surgery on Monday.

Laura -

Congrats on getting your surgery scheduled. I know I was more than ready to have my surgery 20 years ago. I'm not so anxious for number 2.
You will be feeling alot better in no time - well a short time.

Good Luck.

Laura,

Sending you prayers and positive thoughts for a successful surgery and smooh recovery. Before you know it, you will have climbed over to the other side of the mountain.

Laura,

I'm sure you are glad the waiting is finally over. For me, that was the hardest part. Best wishes for an uneventful procedure and we will be waiting to hear from you on this side (the 'other' side).

Randy

Waiting is one of the hardest things. Try to keep really busy this weekend ,that really helped me get through the days leading up to surgery. Please know I will be thinking about you and praying that your surgery is successful.

Taka care,
