One Year Ago....

today my dad had his 3rd OHS. I just wanted to say thank you to all you wonderful folks for the encouragement and support leading up to the surgery and for the several months afterward by helping us manage his coumadin/INR levels. I feel really greatful to God and my dad's doctors for his new lease on life.

I know, time flies. He is actually doing relly well. His INR has been stable for months now and my mom is not hovering over him like she used to with his food intake. They are actually going out to a dinner/dance event tonight and are just enjoying life one day at a time.
