New 'super bug'

It has been on the news here in the UK about an antibiotic resistant bacteria which has been brought into the country by people having surgery in hospitals in countries such as India and Pakistan.

Heaven only knows what would happen if one of us valve patients get that.

I embraced my friend, Patricia, who died from MRSA after acquiring it and then succumbing to it after her last OHS. Like everyone else who visited her at home, I lay down beside her in the bed. (She prefered being sprawled in a sort-of fetal position in her last few months.) Luckily I did not get her MRSA nor her C-Dif either. But, it seems our infection-controlled world is not so safe, is it? However, not everyone exposed to the bad bugs gets them. Much to think about!

oh, no - not another one. I have not heard so thanks for letting us know. We can keep an eye out for it. They have told us for years that a resistant bug will come along and here it is. dang.
