Hi All,
I had my replacement aortic valve in 2001. Between 2001 and 2004 I was petrified to do anything what with the warfarin for life. Then I took a risk, and joined a jujitsu dojo. I finished last year, due to recurrent shoulder problems, but with four black belts. I received no special treatment, and suffered no real injuries or problems.
Last August I joined a circus, and now train aerial rope and flying trapeze, and am having a ball !
Don't let the experts frighten you off from doing anything - its all within your capability. Just go for it
