I know what you mean Mark. I was sorta used to taking the Centrum Silver and all that goes along with it. Now I'm catching it because I'm taking "girly" pills. Just can't win for losing. Chris

Soy

Actuaully, it's my understanding that soy does NOT contain Vitamin K unless it's been added, such as in certain snack foods. I eat a lot of tofu so I hope it doesn't. Al?

Soy and Tofu are low in vitamin K, but they have some.

It is not what you eat, but keeping the vitamin K intake about constant that is important.

Hello all:
Found some informative sites that deal with Vitamin K. It's important to note that Vitamin K has many vital functions in the body, including building and manitaining strong bones and healthy connective tissue. Deficiencies of vitamin K include osteoporosis. That's one of the reasons that K is included in many calcium tablets and supplements, as well as in foods that contain calcium. People who take coumadin/warfarin still need some vitamin k. As Al says, its important to be consistent.
