Wondering if anyone has had any success using pot to help with this creepy 'pump-head' feeling post surgery? I have some visual changes and also a general fuzziness. I am stopping the norco painkillers to see if that helps. But the chest hole still hurts quite a bit during the night. So I'll see if I can make it through tonight

I tried quitting the pain killers but I didn't notice any effect. I was generally only taking one at night anyway. That's when I felt the most pain and wanted to be able to relax also.

If you don't want to do the narcotics, try acetaminophen. I would take that during the day, with one narcotic at night. The feelings associated with pump head syndrome will go away with time. Pot, or THC will probably not affect the cause of the symptoms, but may make them easier to handle or in general it may make it easier to handle recovery.
