I didn’t undergo any surgery yet, but I also had double vision problems. When this occurred, the image from one eye was superposed to the image of the second eye, but the superposition wasn’t perfect. One of the images was shifted. Those episodes lasted for under two minutes, and my fix was to look the sky or a white wall until the two images became one. I met a neurologist for this problem and had a brain CT scan but everything was normal.

I have suffered with episodes of double vision for many, many years & the doctors have never been able to tell me why. One doctor told me once that it can be little clots that breakup occasionally.

The scary part about it is that you never know when they are going to happen. I've had them happen when I'm driving & I've had to pull over until they pass usually 5 to 10 minutes.

But in reading everybody else's posts, I guess it's a pretty common occurrence.

Good luck on your recovery. Take care!:)
