I saw my regular MD Wednesday and my BP was way high, 170's over 100's.
He put me back on a diuretic and postassium.
Saw my Cardiologist Thursday and he said he believes I am working way too hard, too long of hours, and pushing myself too much. He is considering putting me on permanent disability. He also ordered an echocardiogram to be done next Wednesday.
He wrote a note for my work to cut my hours down to 4-6 hours shifts. My boss was ok with that but still wants to work me in the later part of the day which is the hardest part of the shift. We'll see how things go.
So, wish me luck.

Viki, don't worry, just try to relax and make sure you only work very few hours. Can you do your job without standing? Sitting is so much easier on your heart. Move around slowly if possible.
I don't remember if you take BP meds, but they keep my heart quiet and resting in the 60-65 range.
