I keep wondering if a "torn aorta" is the same thing as a disected aortic aneurysm. It seems to be the same thing to me. It is always sad when the "victim" of aortic calamidy does not know they are prone to this before it happens. He was in surgery a VERY long time, I think. 20 hours, wasn't it? He is in my prayers.
