Definitions

Ok, guys. I've been cruising around, reading posts on lots of different subjects, and I keep seeing ABBREVIATIONS of conditions, procedures, symptoms! I don't know what these mean!
I'm not stupid, just a novice. All I know is that AVR stands for aortic vlve replacement. What about TIA? And apico-aortic conduit? I was going to write down a whole lot more of them, but I'm impatient to write this.
Is there a way we could have a definitions page so that people like me that are new to this can figure out what everyone else is saying?
