Cost of 24-hour holter monitor test?

Doctor is considering a holter monitor test for some mild coughing issues. (I guess I should say he has left it up to my husband -- whether the coughing concerns my hubby or not) What is the price of this test? New year, new deductible.

What are the typical/usual situations that prompt a doctor ordering an event monitor?

Is coughing among them? (As in Cindy's case)

My former cardio last summer ordered a 24-hour Holter monitor, but his office staff could never get their act together, so I never had it. He wanted to check out PVCs.

Don't you find it odd that you can find the price of ANYTHING on the internet EXCEPT medical procedures. Weird. I can find the price of renting a holter monitor for your DOG! Think we could use that? Ha!
