Well, tomorrow is the weigh-in.....This week has been a struggle in many ways....I have been checking my weight daily (not something I usually do) and it has been a rollercoaster.....I can't expect anything else....I have not been walking or eating like I should be, but today is a new beginning, as is everyday......

Lets remember to keep John and family in our prayers.....

Daily weight will do that anyway. It fluctuates by a pound or two either way depending what you ate and how much water you're holding. When I'm running long distances. It will go down by 3-4 pounds after the run and then back up as much as 6-7 lbs by that evening from water absorption. Then overnight it can drop by 3-4 again.

If you get tangled up in the day to day fluctuations you can go nuts unless you take a more scientific view of it and only pay attention to averages. I put it into a spreadsheet and average the last 7 days to smooth out the ups and downs. That gives me a clear picture of whether it's really trending up or down for the week.

That means that whether it's up or down from yesterday or the day before doesn't matter as much as whether it's up or down from one week ago because with the 7 day average, when you enter today's weight it takes last Thursday's number out of the average to compute the new average.
 
Up a little bit this week...
...not going to bother you guys with the minute details 'cos its water-weight which will pee away in its own good time. (thats my story and I'm sticking to it :eek: )
 
I'm up a fraction today too, but within that day to day variability so it doesn't concern me much. I was down a fraction at weight watchers weigh-in on tuesday and that counts more.
 
I'm chalking mine up to water weight too! ;) The last few weeks I seem to be hovering in the 133-135 range. Today was a 135. I'd REALLY like to get down past the 130 mark, but maybe that's too much to ask... :rolleyes:

No...not to much to ask....takes time....The weight comes off much slower as we get close to our proper weight.....Good job!!!!!....Keep it up....er.....down;) ;)
 
Up a pound....not happy but not mad......I made my bed and I will lie in it......That was my problem this week:D :p

Having said that, I guess I'm back in the weigh-in.
I'll weigh this morning and start reporting back next week.
I'm sure Bonnie will be peering over my shoulder, trying to read the scales (I never would tell her what I weighed!), telling me to Just Do It! :mad: :eek: ;) :)
 
I'm was steady this morning, although I'm probably up right now after eating 3 meals out today, and none of them good for me! Breakfast at Chick Fil A, Lunch at a French Bakery, Supper at Burger King! I did get the Whopper Jr. though!

Well, I was reluctant to post and then I saw the sad post about Bonnie's passing and I almost didn't post at all to the Throw Down. It appears I am not alone in my lack of progress this week. I've gained 1.5 pounds. Better luck to all for next week.
 
Well, I don't know how I forgot yesterday was Friday but it doesn't matter.
My weight is up and I think I just need to start again.
Today is day one and I weight 179. Next week it should be less:) .
 
This week has been hard for most of us.....I have "taken my comfort" all week and it has spilled into the weekend.....Time for this chimp to put on the brakes instead of the feed bag.....New start for me ....tomorrow....Good luck and good losing this week.

With all the gaining going on in this here Throw-Down this week, it looks like the place for SUPERBOB to be! :D Have had a touch of the flu -- not sure how that has affected my weight. Anyway, I will try to bite the bullet (as long as it is low-cal :D ) and weigh in next Friday....
 
Well, I'm a couple of days late, but better late than never. I went to visit my brother and was away from my favorite scale! The good news is that I went hiking with my brother and his friends in our old hometown and we had a really great time.

Here's my stats for this week:

Beginning weight: 182.5
Last week: 166.5
This week: 165.5

So....one pound down this week......kind of surprising because I wasn't eating very well, had batter fried fish one night with my brother, then steak the next, but I did walk/hike four times this week!

It is obvious that the SuperPowers of SuperBob have been missed and have carried a "weighty":rolleyes: :D effect......In the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's SuperBob....we are saved:D
