Hi Bruizer-

How nice to see this post. Congratuations! Mechanical was the way to go for you this time. Joe's also had the INR waiting game, he's hard to bring up after being low. It's very frustrating, and the docs also kept promising, "tomorrow will be the day", and it seemed that tomorrow would never come. But they can't release you unless it's safe. You're on your way now. You know the routine. Slow and steady wins the race.

Take care and be well,

Hi Bruizer -

So glad things are going so well for you and we all hope they continue to do so! Keep us all updated as you can! Best wishes!

Hi Bruizer,

So glad to see you are up and around and doing well after your 2nd AVR.
Take it easy because I had many setbacks after having had my 2nd AVR within 11 days. I did things too soon, because I thought I was wonder woman. WRONG!
Glad you went for the mechanical valve. My surgeon picked the valve for me (what did I know) and explained that I shouldn't do this surgery too many times. I now think he was right!
Coumadin is no big deal once it is stable.

Keep walking and take care!
Keep us posted with your recovery.
