I am coming here to ask for you all to please pray for us, especially fo rmy husband.
About a month ago,he had a pain in his right rib, went to the doctor, they did an x-ray,and said it must be a pulled muscle because they did not see any break. They gave him pain meds and send him on his way. The pain seemed to go away.
About a week ago,the pain came back worse. He went back to the doctor, this time saw a different doctor who took a look at the report from the x-ray and said " I would like a CAT Scan".
Had a CAT Scan done Monday and it shows a growth in his lung, probably pushing on the ribs and causing the pain. She made us an appointment with a pulmorary specialist whom we went to see this morning..
They looked at the Scan and saw much more. He has 2 masses in his right lung, one of them has invaded his right ribs. It also shows growths in his abdomen. She said they will need a biopsy to tell for sure but that not to be surprised if it is cancer. They are looking to do a biopsy and a PET scan to find out more. She also said that if it is malignant, it is probably inoperable because it has already spread.
I appreciate all the prayers you can send our way. I just keep shaking my head and........ I am not even done dealing with my OHS and now this ...
