Now in South Carolina we use to have ?Blue Laws? which prohibited the sale of certain items on Sunday ? so as long as the preacher is not ?making a purchase? I guess he would be ok

The papers I was given when I went home from the surgery said as soon as I felt like it. I felt like it right away. It's an affirmation of life.

I did stay away from the traditional position in the beginning, as pushups are not a smart exercise for someone with a freshly-cloven breastbone.

I can't imagine asking anyone outside of your relationship if it's all right. I always laugh at that Viagra commercial that says "be sure to check with your doctor to see if you're capable of having sex."

Heck, if you haven't already checked to see if you're capable, you don't deserve any. The monstrous gall of doctors to think that you should actually ask their permission..!

But doctor, you didn't say whether I could exhale.

I can understand having some misgivings, but if you're gonna go, you might as well be partway to heaven when it happens.

my husband and i became close as soon as i could handle it. even though i just had surgery, i still cant get use to the ticking and the way it sounds during. myhusband said to use my heart monitor watch that i use for excercise and lets see how fast we can get it to count. i guess you just have to make light of the situation and run with it.
