Well, I finally decided that I would go to the Cardiologist of my friend Carol. He works in Columbia, MD, and that is no farther for me to drive than those doctors recommended on this list in Northern Virginia and Annapolis. So I finally telephoned the office. I got a clear speaking receptionist who, as we established my health insurance info, said , "Well here you are in my system already!" Because this new doctor, Michael Keleman, is affiliated with Johns Hopkins Hospital, he had access to all of my surgical history. They even had the name and address of my Internist so they could send information to him. Hooray! I go in next Tuesday!
